I am a UKCP registered MSc Humanistic Psychotherapist trainee in my fourth year of training at the renowned Metanoia Institute in London.
I have worked with clients for over three years Before embarking on my psychotherapy journey, I worked in finance while raising my family. I have lived in the UK for the last 30 years having spent my childhood in Finland, Russia and Libya.
I worked at the Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service and Epsom Counselling Service. Currently I am working at the Awareness Centre and volunteer at Riverside pathway project in Pimlico assisting people with complex mental health needs like schizophrenia and addictions.
I have a particular interest in the wellbeing of parents-to-be, parents, people who desire, think or plan to become parents.
Parenthood is a unique journey of transition that can bring a variety of associated emotions.
I believe that continuous personal and professional development and ethics are essential to my practice. I adhere to the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) code of ethics.
I am committed to my development by attending further training and workshops, discussing clinical cases with colleagues and committing to regular supervision. I consider personal therapy an essential place for growth and developing potentials and therefore an asset in both personal and professional development.
